The City of Kingston and Canadian Sport for Life Kingston (CS4L Kingston) are looking for presenters and vendors who would like to participate in this year’s Play for Life Summit on November 6, 2015.

Aimed at those involved in the health, education, sports and recreation sectors, the summit discusses and promotes physical activity and physical literacy in Kingston.

The theme for this year’s summit is “Building a healthy, active community.”

“We had 342 individuals participate in last year’s summit – it was a huge success and networking opportunity for our community. We had national experts and 20 workshops focused on increasing the quality of sport and physical activity in Kingston. We are looking for presenters and vendors who can help us maintain this great momentum,” says Denita Arthurs, the City’s assistant supervisor, recreation programs and CS4L Kingston’s project leader.

The deadlines for applying to the summit are Friday, June 26 for Presenters and Friday, July 31 for Vendors.

The event is open to everyone, but will be of specific interest to those involved in sport, recreation, health and education.

CS4L Kingston brings together individuals from sport, recreation, health and education to teach physical literacy, increase opportunities for sport and recreation and promote lifelong participation in physical activity for all Kingston residents.
