The public is invited to attend an open house on Wednesday, November 8 at 7pm to see the proposed improvements to Hemlock Downs Park, located on Aragon Rd just off Battersea Rd. [map]
Attendees are welcome to provide input on park plans, including any accessibility concerns or suggestions in accordance with Ontario Regulation 191/11 (Integrated Accessibility Standards).
Proposed planned upgrades include improving playground seating, a small parking area, and drainage improvements in the softball diamond outfield.
This open house will take place in the Glenburnie Fire Hall, Station #8, located at 1485 Unity Rd.
All public recommendations will be considered when developing detailed drawings for the park improvements. Anyone unable to attend the open house can offer their suggestions online between November 9 and 23 at GetInvolved.CityofKingston.ca.
