The Kidney Foundation of Canada, Kingston Chapter, will host its first Pickleball Tournament on Saturday, June 1, at the Kingston Racquet Centre.

The event offers participants a day of play on the courts, complete with awards and prizes, for a registration fee of $50 per player. An optional package including lunch or dinner is available for $66.

According to Sarah Jensen, Fund & Community Development Officer for the Kingston Chapter, “The tournament will feature four skill groups, ensuring all ages and skill levels are welcome, and no partners are required.”

Proceeds from the event will support programs and services for individuals living with kidney disease in Kingston and surrounding communities.

Kidney disease affects 1 in 10 Canadians, with millions more at risk. Over the past 60 years, the Kidney Foundation has grown and evolved, funding research, educational programs, services, and awareness campaigns to combat the disease.
