City Seeks Input on Upgrades to Playground at Rotary Park

Published on: 2013/08/23 - in Featured Releases

Residents are invited to complete a survey on the playground areas at Rotary Park (map).

The survey results will guide the design and development of proposed playground improvements. A conceptual design will be available for the public to review at an information session to be held this fall.

Rotary Park is a waterfront park located in the west end of the City, adjacent to the Lemoine Point Conservation Area. This community park is home to one of the City’s off-leash dog areas and offers a scenic view of Collins Bay. Improvements to the park may include:

o A new layout for the play areas
o New play equipment
o New playground surface
o Accessible pathways & seating
o Tree planting and landscaping

Citizens are encouraged to “Get Involved” by completing the survey at: cityofkingston.ca/city-hall/get-involved
