Kingston Road Closures & Delays from June 22 to 28

Please see below for a list of road construction projects and events expected to have an impact on traffic flow next week.

Traffic delays (construction)

Expect delays:

On Front Road between Trailhead Place and INVISTA until late October as crews transition to the next stage of bridge work. Choose an alternate route if possible.
On Creekford Road at the new intersection of Bayridge Drive until late November while crews construct the new Bayridge Drive extension.
On Princess Street from Division to Macdonnell until June 26 while crews repair the road surface.
On Sir John A. Macdonald Boulevard’s southbound lands just north of Princess while Utilities Kingston works on the Avenue Road water main replacement project. Crews will be working with excavation equipment in the roadway.
In the following areas from Monday, June 22 until July 9 as crews complete surface treatments on the roads:
Maple Lawn from Battersea to west end
Babcock Road from Orser to Kepler
Kepler Road from Sydenham to Babcock
Lee Road from Babcock to south end
Flanigan Road from Kepler to Sydenham o Woodbine Road from 120m west of Parkland Drive to west end
Road closures (events)

Fort Henry Drive from Highway 2 to end of road at Fort Henry on Sunday, June 28 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for the Garrison Triathlon.
Road closures (construction)

The intersection of Yonge and Union streets will be closed until the end of June.
Stuart Street from George to Arch will be closed until late June.
Ellerbeck Street from King to Davidson will be closed from June 24 until late August.
Yonge Street from Church to Union will be closed starting Monday until late July.
2015 road reconstruction plans

Construction projects are currently underway to reconstruct the following areas :

Yonge Street between Kennedy and Johnson
Forsythe Avenue
Ellerbeck Street between Union and King
Stuart Street between Lower University and Arch
Okill Street
Arch Street
