RELEASE — Vogue Charity Fashion Show, one of the largest student run fashion shows in Canada, is going virtual for their 2021 show. For 24 years, VCFS has put on an annual show combining music, design and dance, all in support of a deserving charity in the KFL&A region that is selected annually. While the show will not be taking place in person this year, you will be able to watch this year’s show directly from the comfort of your own home.
On March 26th and 27th, the 24th annual Vogue Charity Fashion Show will be streamed online. The theme for this year’s show is Convergence, which at its core is about celebrating the beauty of when individuals’ paths converge and they form meaningful connections with one another.
All proceeds from VCFS’ 2021 fundraising efforts and ticket sales will be going to Almost Home. Almost Home is dedicated to providing a home away from home for children and their families who are in Kingston to receive medical care. This spring, Almost Home will be opening a new thrift store in downtown Kingston, and VCFS’s contributions will be supporting this initiative. In the fall, the VCFS charity team began collecting hundreds of bags of clothing donations from Queen’s students and the Kingston community to be sold in the thrift store.
Creativity will be on full display in the virtual show and you do not want to miss it. There are multiple ticket options available from Tier 1 or “general admission” tickets to Tier 3 packages that include products from some exciting sponsors.
Purchase your tickets for the March 26th show or March 27th show online to watch an incredible display of performing arts and design while supporting an important local charity.
