City Seeks Input on Memorial Centre & Third Avenue Playgrounds Upgrades

Come learn about proposed playground improvements for Third Avenue Park and the Memorial Centre playground and surrounding park area.

The City of Kingston is seeking your input at a public meeting set for 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, June 29 at St. Peter Catholic School, 48 Seventh Ave.

– Proposed improvements to Third Avenue Park include a new playground, seating, pathways and landscaping.
– Proposed improvements to the playground and surrounding park area at the Memorial Centre include additional playground equipment, seating, picnic tables and pathways.

The City is also seeking feedback on accessibility as it relates to both sites under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), in accordance with Ontario Regulation 191/11.
