Arts organizations interested in becoming tenants at the City’s J.K. Tett Centre for the Arts now have until Tuesday, November 23 to apply to become tenants in the proposed Centre.
Selected tenants will have an opportunity to participate in shaping this important new City art space at 370 King St. West adjacent to the proposed Isabel Bader Centre for the Performing Arts.
Submissions are being encouraged from a broad range of visual, performing, fine art, crafts, new media, film, music, dance, theatre and literary groups. The submissions will be assessed by the City’s Arts Advisory Committee which will then recommend successful applicants to the Arts, Recreation & Community Policies Committee of Council.
Submission details and a downloadable application form are available at www.cityofkingston.ca/tett. Submissions are due to the Arts Advisory Committee c/o the City Clerks at 216 Ontario St. by November 23.
The deadline has been extended to allow for this call for tenants to appear in the Kingston Arts Council’s newsletter.
