If you’ve ever thought about adding snowshoeing to your repertoire of outdoor winter activities, you’re invited to come out to the Outdoor Centre at the Little Cataraqui Creek Conservation Area on Sunday, Feb. 19 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. for a special snowshoe demonstration clinic.
Join experts from Trailhead Kingston for a hands-on (or more accurately ‘feet-on’) workshop and learn about this fun activity, which is also a great form of exercise. This event is open to all ages and no experience is necessary.
Trailhead staff will provide the snowshoes. Remember, if you can walk, you can snowshoe. There is no cost for the clinic other than the regular gate fee.
The Little Cataraqui Creek Conservation Area is located on Division Street just two kilometres north of Highway 401.
Entry fees are: $5.50 per person for adults and children over 12, and $3 per person for children 12 and under, to a maximum fee of $14 per car. Annual passes are available for $80 per year.
