Kingston Skate Rental Opens In Springer Market Square

Beginning this past weekend, residents and visitors are able to rent and sharpen skates rink-side down at Springer Market Square.

“This is a service that has been frequently requested and we are pleased to be able to offer it in time for people to enjoy it over the holidays,” says Luke Follwell, Manager of Recreation Facilities.

The skate rental and sharpening service will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. when the rink is open. The price list will be:

  • $7 for 2 hour rental (children 12 and under)
  • $7 for 2 hour rental (senior)
  • $9 for 2 hour rental (adult)
  • $5 for helmet rental
  • $5 for skate sharpening

Special group rates will be available.
