Parent volunteers who willingly give of their time to make their school communities a better place, a Vice-Principal who inspires students and staff to be their very best, and an office manager whose positive encouragement of students touches every classroom and family, these are just a few of the deserving individuals who will be recognized for their outstanding service by Trustees of the Limestone District School Board.

The Limestone Outstanding Service Awards are presented annually, and this year’s recipients will be acknowledged at the April 10, 2013 Board meeting. All recipients have a desire to make a difference in the life of a child.

This evening is a special Board meeting because it provides Trustees, Senior Staff and school communities with an opportunity to reflect upon the successes of our public education system and recognize some of the individuals who dedicate their talent, time and strong work ethic which result in the vibrant schools we all know so well.
