The City of Kingston is reviewing its Tree and Site Alteration bylaws and invites the public to come to an open house to see the changes being proposed.
The open house will be 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 29 at the INVISTA Centre, 1350 Gardiners Rd. A brief presentation is planned for 7 p.m., but you may drop in at any time.
Come see the changes proposed for both bylaws and offer your input to intermediate planner Annemarie Eusebio at aeusebio@cityofkingston.ca by Thursday, December 1.
The Tree Bylaw regulates the destruction of, or injury to, trees and the Site Alteration Bylaw regulates the placing of dumping of fill, the removal of topsoil and the alteration of the grade of land.
