RELEASE — Northern Helm is charting a new course for the cannabis industry, prioritizing self-care and breaking down barriers to accessing the benefits of cannabis products.
Opening July 10 in Kingston, ON, the massive, inviting space, knowledgeable and approachable staff, and focus on simplicity and respect make it a top retail destination for people looking for wellness solutions.
“Our goal,” says Founder and CEO David Côté, “is to make the cannabis retail experience engaging and enjoyable, to open up the conversation, and to normalize the use of cannabis products.”
Côté’s vision has attracted the interest of local operators across Ontario, a model which fosters a deep sense of community and understanding of each local market. By empowering operators with the brand foundations, procedures, and preferred partnerships, Northern Helm-licensed stores set the stage for sustainable scale.
Côté has even garnered the attention of his parents, Larry and Paula Côté, who have built the licensed Kingston outpost. Larry Côté grew up in Kingston and is excited to be investing in the future of his hometown. The couple live 20 minutes from the store.
As Canadians lead increasingly busy lives, they are paying more attention to consumption choices that allow them to be more productive and feel better. Northern Helm has been designed as a retail destination for people who want a moment of balance. The shop offers a carefully-curated selection of products in various formats, including edibles, beverages, concentrates, and more. All elements of the store—from clean layout to team training—are designed to ensure guests find the products that suit their needs with ease.
The Kingston location can be found at 225 Gore Rd., Unit 2. Northern Helm has additional locations in Toronto (1338 Danforth Ave.) and Bowmanville (opening July 15), and will be opening more outposts across Ontario in the coming months.
