The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has issued a food recall warning for Sun Rich Foods brand sliced apples and sliced apple products due to Listeria monocytogenes contamination.
Information on the recall, including a list of affected products, can be found online at inspection.gc.ca .
Please ensure that if you have any of the affected products that you do not use them. Recalled products should be discarded or returned to the place of purchase.
Anyone who may have consumed the recalled products should monitor themselves for signs and symptoms of listeriosis and seek medical attention if any develop.
