RELEASE — The City of Kingston is building a new community park and planning a future trail system in a Kingston west end subdivision, known as Cataraqui West or Woodhaven. Residents are invited to attend an interactive virtual meeting where staff will introduce the project, share potential designs, and receive input about the proposed park features.

“This is the largest brand-new park in Kingston in more than two decades. It will be a wonderful addition not just for its neighbours, but for our entire city,” says Neal Unsworth, Manager, Parks and Shoreline.

The new park is 14 acres and is expected to include sports fields, courts, playground equipment, a splash pad and will connect to future nature trails.

Get involved, Kingston!
