Utilities Kingston will be upgrading the electrical infrastructure on behalf of your electricity distributor, Kingston Hydro Corporation. Switching is required for isolation of existing underground equipment to facilitate installation of new equipment and to repair existing equipment.
Scheduled power outage starting Sunday, February 13, 2011, at 11:00 p.m. for approximately 7 hours
Utilities Kingston is installing new electrical equipment in an underground transformer vault on the corner of Princess Street and Barrie Street.
The area affected is surrounded by:
- Division Street
- Queen Street
- Clergy Street
- Princess Street
Customers affected will be personally notified.
Also a brief scheduled power outage for Monday, February 14, 2011, anytime between 5:30 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.
Utilities Kingston will be performing switching to return our electrical system back to normal.
