RELEASE — Get ready to splash your way through summer— the Culligan Water Park is opening for the 2024 season on Saturday, June 8.
Located next to the Kingston Memorial Centre at 303 York St., the Culligan Water Park features a 25-metre lap pool, leisure pool, lazy river, water slide and spray features for people of all ages to have fun, get active and enjoy summer.
“As June is Recreation and Parks Month all across Ontario, we are excited to be making the most of the season and giving everyone the opportunity to participate in outdoor recreation activities,” said Darek Osostowicz, Aquatics Supervisor at the City of Kingston. “Whether you’re interested in beating your personal best in the lap pool, relaxing on the lazy river or shooting down the water slide, there are so many great memories to be made at the Culligan Water Park this summer.”
The Culligan Water Park will operate on a modified schedule from June 8 – 28. From June 29 to August 18, the park will be open daily for all-ages leisure swimming from 11:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 – 8 p.m. From Aug. 19 to Sept. 2, the park will close at 7 p.m. daily. Lane swimming is from 7–8:50 a.m. on June 8 and 9, then 7–8:50 a.m. daily from June 15 to Sept. 2.
Swimming lessons will be available at Culligan Water Park this summer. You can view course schedules on June 6 at noon, and registration opens on June 20 at noon. Learn more on our Swimming Lessons page or our recreation portal.
