RELEASE — To help customers reduce water and sewer use, Utilities Kingston is offering a $30 bill credit on the purchase and installation of low-flush toilets to its residential water customers. Customers can upgrade every eligible toilet in their home.
“We want to help our customers reduce water and sewer use, and take climate action,” says Caitlin Newey, Conservation Officer for Utilities Kingston. “By upgrading existing low-efficiency toilets, you’ll save money on your home’s water and sewer bills, and help take climate action by reducing the energy needed to treat water and wastewater.”
Low flush toilets, sometimes also called low flow, are toilets designed to use much less water through a specific type of cistern and siphon that can flush waste effectively and more efficiently.
