“I want to assure residents that our City remains at work on your behalf. Measures we’re seeing instituted at several City locations are precautions, and take into account advice from medical professionals to practice social distancing and help flatten the curve,” says CAO Lanie Hurdle.

City Hall Payment Centre
The City Hall Payment Centre is closed to the public until further notice. Staff remains available by phone and email.
Payments can be made through the following means:
- Through online banking
- Through your financial institution
- Using our drop boxes at 1211 John Counter Blvd. or at City Hall’s Market Street entrance
- For taxation or other payments by mail, send a cheque to: City of Kingston – Taxation PO Box 640, Kingston, ON, K7L 4X1
For utility payments by mail, send a cheque to: Utilities Kingston – PO Box 790, Kingston, ON, K7L 4X7

For payments, customers are encouraged to pay online through DASH or use the secure drop box located by the front door of 1211 John Counter Blvd. Credit card payments are also being accepted by phone. For further guidance, please call 613-546-4291 ext. 3280 for building payments, and ext. 3180 for planning payments.
Please note that Planners, Enforcement Officers, and Building Inspectors remain available by phone and email.

Kingston Airport Terminal:
Air Canada has announced that it will reduce its domestic network from 62 airports to 40. This has a direct impact on Kingston Airport. Flights to and from Kingston will be temporarily suspended from Monday, March 23 to Thursday, April 30. This will impact terminal hours. For the most up-to-date information on how hours may be effected, please monitor the City’s COVID-19 resource page.
“The runway will remain open for medical and emergency flights,” says Airport Manager, Aron Winterstein.
