Suspect Sought in Christmas Day Stabbing

The Kingston Police Major Crime Unit is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a suspect wanted for a Christmas Day stabbing.

UPDATE: Kingston Police report this suspect was apprehended at an Adelaide Street home on January 2nd.

In what investigators describe as an “unprovoked” attack, the suspect attacked an acquaintance, beating him about the head, before stabbing him multiple times in the torso. The victim managed to escape the attack and lock himself in another room to call 911.

The suspect fled, and the victim was taken to hospital by paramedics for stab wounds, and subsequently released.

Cecil R. Mills, 43 years of age, is the subject of a Warrant to Arrest for:

• Assault,
• Possession of a Dangerous Weapon,
• Aggravated Assault, and
• Breach of Probation (2 counts)

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Cecil MILLS is asked to call Kingston Police. MILLS should not be approached – anyone who believes they see him should call 9-1-1.
