City and Utilities Kingston schedules will be affected by the Family Day holiday on Monday, February 15, 2021:
Kingston Transit reminds families that kids 14 and under ride FREE every day. Plan your family bus trip with Google Transit and bring face-coverings to wear on board.
Green Bin, garbage and recycling: No collection on Monday. Collection occurs the day after your regular pick-up day this week. Sign-up at CityofKingston.ca/collection to receive collection reminders by phone, text or email – or get the FREE “Kingston Waste” app on your Apple or Android device.
Kingston Transit: Bus service will operate on a Sunday schedule on Monday. Please see the City’s Service Alerts for COVID-19-related service changes.
Kingston Access Services: Operates with limited service on Monday. Call 613-542-2512 for information.
Administrative offices, including Housing and Social Services on Montreal Street: Closed Monday.
Utilities Kingston and Kingston Hydro: Closed Monday. In the event of a utility emergency, such as a gas smell, power outage or a water main break, call the Utilities Kingston 24-hour number at 613-546-1181. Hydro One electricity customers in the west and east ends can call 1-800-434-1235. Enbridge customers can call 1-877-969-0999. A reminder that the government will continue to hold electricity prices to the fixed rate of 8.5 cents per kilowatt-hour. This lower rate is available 24 hours per day, seven days a week for Time-Of-Use and tiered customers, until the end of the day Feb. 22, 2021.
Kingston Area Recycling Centre: Closed Monday.
Arenas: Closed Monday.
INVISTA Centre: Open Monday from 6 a.m. to 12 a.m. with COVID-19 precautions in place.
Artillery Park Aquatic Centre: Open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday with COVID-19 precautions in place.

Rideau Heights Community Centre and Library: Closed Monday. The Community Centre reopens on Feb. 16 and the Library reopens on Feb. 19.
