RELEASE — On Thursday, Jan. 13, join the City and Sustainable Kingston at the 2022 Climate Change Symposium! This free event is open to all ages and the line-up promises to inform and inspire you to take climate action.

“Sustainable Kingston is proud to partner with the City and our sponsors to bring this event to Kingstonians online and free-of-charge. Now more than ever, we need to be inspired and informed about ways to take climate action. This event will do just that,” says Geoff Hendry, Manager of Communications and Business Development at Sustainable Kingston.

The event will be emceed by the one and only, Ali Hassan. Hassan is well-known for his broadcasting experience with CBC, having hosted such programs as Laugh out Loud and Canada Reads.

9:55 a.m. – Wellness break

10 a.m. – Johanna Wagstaffe presents, If this is now, what comes next? Q&A to follow

10:45 a.m. – Wellness break

11 a.m. – Sheila Watt-Cloutier presents, Re-imagining a New Way Forward with Intention. Q&A to follow
