RELEASE — The second annual Kingston Walk for Arthritis will be held on the afternoon of June 2nd, 2019, at the beautiful Fort Henry in Kingston, ON.
Join us as we walk in unity with 45 other communities across Canada to support the 6 million Canadians who live with the emotional and physical pain of arthritis. It is a day of the year where we can come together to celebrate the strength and courage of so many of our neighbours, friends, and family who fight this disease every day.
The Walk for Arthritis is the marquee fundraising event for The Arthritis Society, a national non-profit organization that helps raise much-needed funds for cutting-edge research, proactive advocacy and better solutions that will deliver better health outcomes for people affected by arthritis. Proceeds from our event will go towards this essential cause.
Since its inception, the nation-wide Walk for Arthritis has raised over $10 million. At last year’s inaugural event in Kingston, we were proud to have raised over $10,000. This year, we are hoping to reach our goal of $12,000.
We look forward to seeing all of you, new and returning, on June 3rd, 2019. Don’t miss out on the 2019 Kingston Walk for Arthritis.
1km and 5km options are available – register and donate and connect on Facebook
