The Tomlinson Aqua Park at the Memorial Centre, 303 York St., opens on weekends starting Saturday, June 6.
“It’s time to dig your suit out. Saturday is fun day! We know the opening of the waterpark is like the opening of summer,” says Adam McCluskey, manager, recreation facilities.
This popular City of Kingston waterpark boasts a 10m water slide, lazy river, toddler pool and accessible features. It’s open:
– Weekends from June 6 to 21, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
– Daily from June 22 to September 7 , 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m.

Tim Horton’s is again sponsoring FREE swims at the waterpark from 5–7 p.m. every Tuesday from July 7 to August 25.
In the meantime, you can cool off daily from 9 a.m. to dusk until September 7 at:

– Lake Ontario Park, 920 King St. W.
– Memorial Centre, 303 York St

The McBurney Park wading pool, 167 Ordnance, opens daily from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. starting on Canada Day.
The Victoria Park wading pool is being removed this year to make way for a new water feature and other park improvements.
