PEDESTRIAN CROSSOVERS
There are two Pedestrian Crossovers in Kingston: on King Street in front of Kingston General Hospital and on Rideau Street at Rideaucrest Home. Motorist must stop for pedestrians crossing at these locations. Learn more at: CityofKingston.ca/Crossovers.
CONSTRUCTION ROAD CLOSURES
– The fixed bridge and swing bridge on Kingston Mills Road is closed until mid-May 2017 to allow Parks Canada to replace the fixed bridge and rehabilitate the swing bridge. Want community updates on this project? Email RideauCanal.info@pc.gc.ca.
OTHER EVENT ROAD CLOSURES
– King Street will be closed from the Tragically Hip Way to Place D’Armes on beginning 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 2 to Tuesday, Dec. 13 for the Cirque du Soleil.
– King Street will be closed from Brock to Clarence on Friday, Dec. 9 from 4 to 10 p.m. and Market Street from Ontario King from noon to 10 p.m. for Snow Much Fun.
CONSTRUCTION DELAYS
Motorists and cyclists should expect delays on these roadways:
– Sydenham Street from Princess to Queen will be closed until late November.
– John Counter Boulevard from Indian to Sir John A. Macdonald from Dec. 5 to 9 while crews drill for soil samples.
ROAD RECONSTRUCTION PROJECTS
Work to reconstruct the following roadways is underway:

– Clergy Street between Queen and Princess
