Local philanthropic group 100 Men Kingston recently selected Well Suited to receive the organization’s second quarterly cheque in the amount of $9,500 – presented to members of the Well Suited Committee by Brad Revell of 100 Men Kingston (above).

In a release, Well Suited said the August 23rd donation “will go a long way in helping us give men in Kingston the support they need as they work to become positive role models for their families.”

Well Suited provides men with suitable attire and career development tools to help them enter the workforce and stay employed.

According to its website, interested community members can help Well Suited empower these men by donating clothes; volunteering your time sorting clothes, fundraising, join a committee, or work with their clients’ styling; or donate funds to help with the costs of running the shop and meeting their clients’ needs.

100 Men Kingston, inspired by 100+ Women Who Care Kingston, brings together a group of local men who care about supporting local community charities. Four times a year, they meet and jointly vote for a local charity or not-for-profit organization to receive a donation, with each man agreeing to write a $100 cheque to the selected organization.
