Due to the ongoing pandemic, the City of Kingston will be exploring new initiatives that will allow residents to safely enjoy its greenhouse in Rodden Park from the comfort of their homes.
In previous years, residents have been invited to come enjoy the spring bulbs and tropical plants on display in person.
“We know many people look forward to visiting the greenhouse every year, and we are working to provide that same experience virtually,” said Troy Stubinski, Operations Manager, Public Works. “The safety of residents and staff continues to be our top priority and has encouraged us to explore new and innovative initiatives with the greenhouse.”
The City will be providing additional information about the virtual greenhouse experience, and other greenhouse initiatives, later this spring.
