Utilities Kingston to Call Electricity Customers for Input

Published on: 2021/08/19 - in News

Utilities Kingston reports some of its electricity customers will be called over the next month for a satisfaction survey, as required by the Ontario Energy Board..

Beginning this week, UtilityPULSE will be placing the calls on behalf of Utilities Kingston, which confirms these phone calls and questions are legitimate and authorized.

“We’ve been serving Kingston for more than 150 years and know that consumer values are changing,” said Kevin McCauley, Chief Customer and Technology Officer for Utilities Kingston. “Please share your opinions to help us better understand and meet your needs and expectations. You can count on us.”

An opinion research firm, UtilityPULSE, has been contracted by Utilities Kingston to call 400 of its 28,000 customers in central Kingston with a few questions regarding its electrical services.

UtilityPULSE will ask to speak to the person who looks after that household’s electrical bill and then continue with the survey, which takes less than 15 minutes to complete. Customers will not be asked for account, financial or other personal information.

Questions or concerns about the survey can be directed to Utilities Kingston customer service at 613-546-0000.
