Kingston-based Urban Hippie Granola announced this month that it will soon be expanding into several Sobeys grocery stores in Ottawa.
The company, which prides itself on crafting artisanal handmade granola available in different flavors (including ‘Maca Matcha Superfood’, ‘Vanilla and Cinnamon Flax Seed’, ‘Tahitian Vanilla Coconut’), will be featured in 14 Sobeys and Foodland stores in the nation’s capital.
“I’ve been busy developing new flavor combinations for Urban Hippie in our test kitchen. Our customers’ taste preferences are very important to me which is why I request feedback on a routine basis,” said Urban Hippie owner and operator, Casey Krebs. “Chocolate is in high demand this year so in response, I developed our new ‘Chocolate Coconut’ granola flavor. The Urban Hippie line will be launching in 14 Sobeys and Foodland stores in Ottawa. I’m really looking forward to launching in our capital.”
Urban Hippie is celebrating their fourth successful year of making delicious, handcrafted granola and say they’re looking forward to meeting everyone at upcoming in-store demonstrations that will be announced soon.
