Zachary Typhair has been nominated as the Ontario Greens’ candidate for Kingston and the Islands in the upcoming provincial election.
Typhair, a Kingston native, has highlighted income inequality, affordable housing, and environmental sustainability as key issues he intends to address. He emphasized his commitment to advocating for policies that prioritize fairness and environmental responsibility.
“I’m committed to building a fairer, greener future for my community and for people across Ontario,” Typhair said. “I’ll always advocate for fair policies that serve you and not large corporations.”
Ontario Greens leader Mike Schreiner endorsed Typhair’s candidacy, describing him as a dedicated community leader. “Zachary is a dedicated community leader committed to putting people before profits. I know he will be a strong voice in Kingston and the Islands,” Schreiner said.
Typhair works as an insurance agent and previously ran as the Ontario Greens’ candidate in the last provincial election. His experience includes managing federal and municipal campaigns.
