A Kingston man has won $350,000 after claiming the top prize on a SUPER MASSIVE MULTIPLIER scratch ticket.
Daniel B. of Kingston, who works in the tourism industry, won the prize on Game #2580.
Daniel said he usually plays scratch tickets once or twice a month and purchased the winning ticket while at a gas station.
“I was at the gas station when I saw this ticket and thought, ‘Why not?’” he said while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to collect his cheque.
After discovering the ticket was a winner, Daniel called his wife to tell her about the prize.
“She didn’t believe me at first. It was such a surreal moment,” he recalled with a smile. “I never thought this would be me!”
Daniel said his anniversary is approaching and he is considering using part of the winnings for a trip with his family.
“I’m focused on my family and enjoying life with them. I feel very fortunate to have won this prize, and we’re looking forward to what lies ahead.”
SUPER MASSIVE MULTIPLIER tickets cost $20 per play and offer a top prize of $350,000. The odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.21. Additional information about the game and other instant games is available through OLG website.
The winning ticket was purchased at Lasalle Express on Highway 15 in Kingston.
