“Slow Down” Lawn Signs Available to Encourage Motorists to Drive Safely

Published on: 2021/10/21 - in News

The City of Kingston is helping community members promote safer roads for everyone by encouraging motorists to slow down in your neighbourhood.

Residents can pick up ‘Slow Down’ lawn signs to remind drivers about using safe speeds along neighbourhood streets. The signs are part of the City’s Traffic Calming Program and free for Kingston residents on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. There is a limit of one sign per household.

Pick up your sign during regular business hours (8:30am to 4:30pm) at either City Hall’s Payment Centre or the Customer Care Centre in the INVISTA Centre at 1350 Gardiners Rd.

Learn about how to correctly install the lawn sign at the City’s placement guidelines page.
