Kingston Couple Celebrates $1 Million LOTTO MAX MAXMILLIONS Win

The OLG announced today that a local couple had the winning ticket for a MAXMILLIONS prize worth $1 million from the June 22, 2021 LOTTO MAX draw.

The winning ticket was purchased at Bayridge Market on Bayridge Drive by Kerry Benford and Diana Hall of Kingston, when Diana asked Kerry “Would you just buy the winning ticket already?”

“I was just doing what I was told!” said Kerry.

He said he was surprised when he scanned his tickets after the draw and saw the Big Winner screen appear.

“I took a photo of the screen and then rushed home to show Diana,” said Kerry. “My jaw dropped a little more as I matched every number. I didn’t believe it could be real,” added Diana.

Kerry is retired and Diana is soon to retire with both now planning to travel – beginning in Canada, when they’ll visit friends and family they’ve missed during the pandemic.

“We’ll enjoy our early retirement traveling when it’s safe again,” said Kerry.
