Kingston Transit is cautioning residents about an online scam that has been circulating, offering discounted transit passes through unofficial channels.
The transit service emphasized that it does not sell passes through social media and urged the public to be wary of suspicious messages. Community members are advised not to click on unfamiliar links or provide personal information, including passwords, banking details, or credit card numbers.
