Online Survey to Help Decide Future of Kingston Pen & Portsmouth Olympic Harbour

Published on: 2016/11/07 - in News

The public is being asked to give their input on four exploratory illustrations that show possible options for the former Kingston Penitentiary and Portsmouth Olympic Harbour.

“We’re using the exploratory illustrations that were developed from the recent design charrettes and focus groups to help residents select which features they prefer,” said community projects manager, Julie Salter-Keane. “We expect there will be some mixing and matching.”

A brief online survey asks participants to review the illustrations and pick out the best decision related to various aspects of the site, which include heritage and culture, the marina, parks and road and pedestrian connections.

Results from this public survey will be used to “help construct an emerging vision for this historic waterfront area”, with Salter-Keane saying the results of the evaluation will be discussed in early 2017.

You can review the four explorations and complete the short survey to share your thoughts on the proposed concepts.
