Maple Madness begins for another year in Kingston, just in time for the March Break school holiday.
The March Break events will run from March 9 to 17, and continue on the weekends of March 23 and 24 as well as the Easter Weekend of March 30 and 31st.
Maple Madness takes place at the Little Cataraqui Creek Conservation Area, located at 1641 Perth Road (Division Street) in Kingston, just 2 km north of the Highway 401 interchange. (map)
Daily operating hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and there will be different activities on different days of the event.
The fun includes taking a tractor-drawn wagon ride to the sugar bush, see how maple syrup is made now and in the past, the chance to enjoy pancakes with real maple syrup, plus special activities like puppet shows, First Nations presentations, a bake sale, and Olde Thyme Sugar Bush Chores.
For more information, call (613) 546-4228 ext. 221 or visit the CRCA Maple Madness 2013 webpage or their events calendar.
