Local Charities and Not-for-Profits: Apply for $25,000 Grant

One-time grants of up to $25,000 are now available for qualified Kingston charities and not-for-profits to go towards local programs and projects.

The grants encourages “an innovative, entrepreneurial and collaborative response to local social needs” and combines funding from both United Way KFLA and the City of Kingston, with the former administering this fund at no charge.

Due to popular demand, the 2016 Community Investment Fund grant application form and guidelines are now available online at the United Way Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox & Addington website.

The deadline to submit applications to United Way KFLA is Monday, Sept. 12, 2016 and the form and guidelines can be found under the “Funding” tab – then selecting ‘Fund Distribution‘- at UnitedWayKFLA.ca (or simply click here).

There is also an information session to answer questions about the Community Investment Fund on Wednesday, August 10th between 5 pm and 6 pm in the City’s Housing and Social Services offices at 362 Montreal Street.
