Electric vehicle owners will get free charging sessions at all Electrify Canada ultra-fast charging stations today – Earth Day, Thursday April 22.
EV drivers will not be charged for sessions starting at 12:00am EDT April 22 through to 3:00am EDT April 23 in all provinces with Electrify Canada stations.
Charging station locations can be found on Electrify Canada’s website and locally include the Canadian Tire at 2560 Princess St. in Kingston and another is located at 2360 Parkedale Ave. in Brockville.
According to a release, Electrify Canada has 22 charging stations in Quebec, Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia and each is equipped with four chargers capable of speeds up to 150kW and 350kW. The company is scheduled to have 32 charging stations with a total of 128 individual fast chargers by the end of 2021.

Along with providing free charging sessions, Electrify Canada encourages EV drivers to share their commitment to an electric lifestyle with their social followers by using the hashtag #ChargeOnEarth to help foster grassroots support for Earth Day.
