The submission deadline for the eighth annual Mayor’s Innovation Challenge is fast approaching. Current and recently graduated post-secondary students have until Sunday, Feb. 23, at 11:59 p.m. to submit their innovative project proposals aimed at improving Kingston’s quality of life or municipal services.
The competition, held in partnership with Queen’s University, St. Lawrence College, and the Royal Military College, offers participants a chance to showcase creative solutions and gain access to valuable mentorship and funding opportunities. Shortlisted teams will be notified on Tuesday, Feb. 25, and invited to present their ideas at the Student Pitch Competition on Friday, March 14, at City Hall.
