The City of Kingston has announced it March 26 and April 2 Planning Committee meetings have been cancelled due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation.
Instead, all items scheduled to go to these meetings will move to the April 16 Planning Committee meeting, which is now being finalized in regards to where it will be held and how it will be hosted.
“This decision is based on recommendations from local, provincial and federal health authorities,” said Tim Park, Manager of Development Approvals. “We’re working to adapt our operational processes, but we remind residents that planning applications can still be submitted online and that planners are still available to provide timely assistance by email.”
Planning Services staff are available to address inquiries about potential applications via phone at 613 -546-4291 ext. 3180 or email at email@example.com. Applicants are also requested to email the planner assigned to their files, as the Planning offices at 1211 John Counter Blvd. are closed to the public until further notice.
