South Frontenac Township has introduced a Climate Change Survey aimed at gathering insights from residents and businesses to inform the development of its Corporate Climate Change Action Plan.
The survey seeks to collect public feedback to help align the Township’s climate initiatives with community priorities and to gauge support for these measures. In developing the Climate Change Action Plan, the Township aims to “identify where the Township can reduce greenhouse gas emissions within operations” and to “evaluate risks and vulnerabilities to municipal infrastructure, services, and operations to enhance resilience.”
The Township emphasizes that addressing climate change requires coordinated action across federal, provincial, and municipal levels, as well as engagement from businesses and individuals.
Community members are encouraged to participate in the Climate Change Survey, which is available online until Wednesday, November 13, 2024.
