The Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association (AMYA) has announced a cross-Canada tour titled “Explore Islam” which aims to provide an opportunity for Canadians to meet with Muslims and learn about the true teachings of Islam. The tour, which will visit over 1,000 cities, towns and villages across Canada, features interactive events where Muslim youth will participate in two-way dialogue with local residents.
On January 21st, the AMYA will be hosting an “Explore Islam” event at the Kingston Frontenac Public Library, 130 Johnson Street. The event, which is open to the public, will take place from 1:00pm to 5:00pm and will provide an opportunity for local residents to ask questions and learn more about Islam directly from Muslims.
According to Mr. Tahir Ahmed, President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association, the tour is an opportunity to showcase the true and peaceful teachings of Islam to Canadians. “As Canada’s largest Muslim youth group, we want to provide Canadians with an opportunity to meet with Muslims and explore the true teachings of Islam,” said Ahmed.
