5th Annual Ian Walsh Photography Contest Winners Announced

Visit Kingston has announced the 5th Annual Ian Walsh Photography Competition winners for this year’s ‘Made in Kingston’ themed contest along with the remaining photos selected by its judges.

The 1st place winner this year is Amber Trent for her photo of one of the Murney’s towers, 2nd place was awarded to Evi Tureluren and 3rd place went to Adam Correia – click the image below to see these and all the top 12 selected photographs.

Visit Kingston is also launching a secondary contest for its Facebook followers with a chance to win one of five $50 Black Dog Restaurant gift cards.

How to Enter (be sure to “like” Visit Kingston on Facebook first):

1. Comment below one of the photos and share a Kingston memory that it reminds you of
2. You can enter multiple times (one time per photo, up to 12 entries)

Five winners will be randomly drawn on Thursday, April 9th at 12pm and notified in their Facebook messenger inboxes.

The new, 2020 Ian Walsh Photography Competition has also been announced.

The theme this year is ‘Colourful Kingston’, with the goal being for passionate people — residents and visitors — to submit their photos capturing the vibrancy of Kingston. You can enter a photo to ianwalshphoto.ca until December 31st, 2020
