The OLG has announced David Bayly of Harrowsmith won a LOTTO MAX second prize worth $286,192 in the May 27, 2022 draw.
While claiming his winnings at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto, Bayly said this is his first major win. “I play the lottery once a week and I always buy LOTTO MAX.”
The self-employed 67-year-old discovered his big win while at the store. “I was in shock – I had to stare at it for a while to process the prize amount. I told my wife and she started jumping up and down with joy.”
The winning ticket was purchased at Ultramar on Bonjour Boulevard in Madoc and Bayly says he plans to purchase an electric truck with some of the money.
OLG is booking in-person prize claim appointments at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto and strongly encourages anyone with claims between $1,000 and $49,999.90 to submit them online or mail them in. Customers with prizes over $50,000 are asked to call 1-800-387-0098 to discuss available prize claim options.
