Two Kingston Beer Stores will be open this Labour Day Monday, joining 62 other outlets across the province to serve customers on the statutory holiday.
The local outlets to remain open include the west end Beer Store at 1090 Midland Avenue near Walmart and the 290 Concession Street Beer Store by the intersection of Bath Road and Princess Street.
The September 2nd holiday marks the first year Beer Stores will be open to customers on Labour Day, albeit with shorter hours – 11am to 5pm. All Beer Stores will be open on Sunday September 1st until 6pm.
