The City’s Outdoor Aqua Park by the Memorial Centre opens for weekend fun from 11:30am to 4pm beginning this Saturday, June 1.
Opening day also includes a ParticipACTION Community Better Challenge Try-It event to help Kingston earn the title ‘Canada’s Most Active Community’.
Drop in anytime on opening day to try the Rescue Challenge consisting of three National Lifeguard skills that include a timed swim, stride jump and rescue aid throws. Participants are also invited to create a team with a group of friends to see if you can beat the City’s lifeguards.

Your Outdoor Aqua Park admission fee qualifies you to participate and pre-registration is not required. The best Rescue Challenge competitors will be eligible to win prizes.
Drop-in admission is $3.75 per person during the daytime, evening admission is $2.50 per person, and 12-visit and season passes are available. City of Kingston FitPasses are also accepted at the Aqua Park.
“Nothing says summer like a trip to Kingston’s outdoor aqua park,” said Erica McPherson, supervisor, aquatic programs with the City of Kingston. “Zip down the 10-metre waterslide, float on the lazy river, swim laps, splash in the tot pool – the choices are endless.”
Extended operating days and hours during the week begins June 22. Weather-related closures and cancellations during the season will be posted at the City’s Water Park page.
