Kingston Grandmother Wins $100,000 with OLG’s INSTANT TRIPLE PLAY

The OLG announced today that Kingston’s Marlene Wallace is now $100,000 richer after winning with INSTANT TRIPLE PLAY.

Marlene told the OLG that a friend who won $20 on TRIPLE PLAY had encouraged her to try the game. “I didn’t realize that I won when I played it. I didn’t believe my eyes when I used the Ticket Checker and then scanned it about seven more times!”

She then informed her family and asked them to guess how much, describing their reaction as “pretty shocked!”, adding “This feels good – I still can’t believe it’s real.”

In a release, it was explained that Marlene participated in a virtual prize claim process, as OLG is limiting the number of in-person prize claim appointments to only those that require a face-to-face interview. Winners accepting their prize at home are not required to wear a mask in the photo they provide, but may choose to do so. Winner’s that attend the Prize Centre, however, are required to wear a mask.

Marlene purchased her winning ticket at Meadowbrooks Variety on Armstrong Road in Kingston.

In accordance with government-issued lockdown measures to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, OLG is currently limiting the number of in-person prize claim appointments at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to only those that require a face-to-face interview. Customers with prizes over $50,000 are asked to call 1-800-387-0098 to discuss available prize claim options. Prize claims up to $49,999.90 should continue to be submitted by mail. The health and safety of our customers and employees remains our top priority and OLG looks forward to providing future updates on the availability of in-person prize claims.

INSTANT TRIPLE PLAY is available for $5 and the top prize is $100,000. Odds of winning any prize are 1 in 4. Visit the INSTANT page on OLG.ca for more information on this and other great games.
