Congratulations go out to Nicole Fowler of Kingston, the city’s first announced jackpot winner of the year, who took home a $100,000 top prize with INSTANT MISSION: MONEY.
“It’s my first big win!” the 33-year old mother of one told the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto while picking up her cheque. “I mostly play INSTANT games, and I check my tickets on the OLG Lottery App.”
According to the OLG, after scratching her ticket – purchased at Circle K on Bath Road in Kingston – and discovering the win, Nicole shared the news with her father. “My Dad cried when I told him,” she said.
Nicole added that she plans on putting her windfall towards the purchase of a home and admits the win feels surreal, admitting “It hasn’t sunk in yet.”
INSTANT MISSION: MONEY is available for $5 a play and the top prize is $100,000. Odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.92.
