Peter Smith, a 66-year-old retiree from Kingston, recently secured a substantial windfall of $100,000 with INSTANT KINGS (Game #2353), collecting his winnings at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto.

Mr. Smith, a loyal participant in the lottery since it began, described his reaction upon learning of his victory. “I was overjoyed when I saw I won. Then I saw the comma after the second zero and that’s when I got really excited!”

Upon informing his family and friends of his good fortune, they said this win couldn’t have happened to a nicer person. “I survived cancer twice and went through a lot in my life. All I can say is, I am extremely lucky.”

Mr. Smith intends to allocate his winnings towards his kid’s student loans and plans to visit Germany after the birth of his newest grandchild.

A $5 INSTANT KINGS ticket offers a top prize of $100,000, with odds of winning any prize standing at 1 in 3.97. Further information on this and other lottery games can be found on the INSTANT page of OLG.ca.

The winning ticket was purchased at Cochranes Convenience on Bay Street in Kingston.
