A Toronto cruise company has launched a Facebook contest offering a comprehensive wedding package valued at up to $15,000 to one lucky couple.
Mariposa Cruises has partnered with several businesses to provide a “dream nautical wedding.”
The wedding package offers the winner their choice of one of three ships owned by the cruise company that are docked at Toronto’s waterfront alongside Queens Quay Terminal.
The couple can have up to fifty guests attend with Mariposa providing the navigational & service staff, as well as linens, the dinner, non-alcoholic beverages, and a wedding planner for ship-board planning.
Partner companies provide the décor (Elevated Events) and flowers (Coco & Lily Flowers). Photographs are provided by Photoworks and invitations by the company Paragon DPI.
Creative Cakes will be providing the wedding cake, while A Cake Odyssey Inc. supplies chocolate truffles for the guests to eat while enjoying the professional DJ and live music provided by Anthony Wright Entertainment.
Even the wedding dress is provided – the bride can choose a dress from The Brides Project.
The contest opened on Valentine’s Day and runs through to midnight on Thursday, April 11th, 2013. The bride or groom only has to “like” and enter Mariposa Cruises’ sweepstakes page on Facebook to be eligible.
The winner has until October 15th, 2013 to hold their wedding and the prize is transferable – so anyone with friends or family who are getting married can enter to win and give them the ultimate gift of a cruise ship wedding.
Mariposa Cruises started in 1987 and has grown to have a fleet of seven ships of a variety of sizes and styles to suit all manner of corporate and social events; their cruises accommodate groups as small as fifteen to as large as 575.
